Q107-FM (then owned by Clear Channel) was one of the first radio stations to pick up on and play “My Humps” by The Black Eyed Peas, giving it heavy airplay in late 2003; this helped make the song a nationwide hit that year.

Q107.03 was the first radio station in Philadelphia to play “Low” by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain, which made it a nationwide hit; Q107.03 also broke both “Goodies” and “Walk It Out (Remix)” by Ciara on WPHI-FM for Philly radio stations.

Q107.03 helped launch the career of Jojo while she was still an unsigned artist when her music video for Leave (Get Out) appeared on Total Request Live at number one many times and is currently among YouTube’s most-watched videos with over 100 million views as of April 2016 after having been available online since February 2008

Q107.03 produces local segments such as Q Morning Zoo from mornings between six and ten in the morning, Q Afternoon Jams from two until six in the afternoon, and Q Night Party from ten at night to one in the morning.

Q107-FM also provides play-by-play coverage for sports events including Penn State football games as well as local high school football contests on Q 107.03 HD Radio via a contract with Y100 (WPLY).

Q107-FM has been nominated several times for New Music Weekly’s Major Market Radio Station of The Year Award beginning in 2005 when it was voted the second runner up after being named the third runner up between 2003 and 2004.

In 2006, 2007, and 2008 Q107 was again awarded third place while 2009/2010 saw them achieving silver status followed by another gold award achieved during 2011/2012. Q107.03 has also been nominated for the RadioContraband Rock Radio Award for National Major Market Station of The Year three times between 2009 and 2011 but did not win, only receiving silver status in 2010/2011 while once again being named the third runner up during 2012/2013 before winning Best Of Show at the 2014 awards ceremony.
