Elton John – Sacrifice
Elton John – Sacrifice
Raised in the Inner territory of Greater London, John sorted out some way to play the piano at an early age, and by 1962 had framed Bluesology, an R&B band with whom he played until 1967. He met his long-a-lasting melodic assistant Tau pin in 1967 after both of them tended to an advert for lyricists. For quite a while, they formed tunes for experts including Lulu, and John worked as a gathering craftsman for specialists including the Hollies, and the Scaffold. In 1969, John’s introduction collection, an Empty Sky, was conveyed. In 1970, his at first hit single.
Lyrics
When things go wrong
When the scent of her lingers
And temptation’s strong
Of each married man
Sweet deceit comes calling
And negativity lands
Hard done by you
Some things look better, baby
Just passing through
Just a simple word
It’s two hearts living
In two separate worlds
But it’s no sacrifice
No sacrifice
It’s no sacrifice at all
After the fact
Sensitivity builds a prison
In the final act
No stone unturned
No tears to damn you
When jealousy burns
Hard done by you
Some things look better, baby
Just passin’ through
Just a simple word
It’s two hearts livin’
In two separate worlds
But, it’s no sacrifice
No sacrifice
It’s no sacrifice, at all
Hard done by you
Some things look better, baby
Just passin’ through
Just a simple word
It’s two hearts livin’
In two separate worlds
But, it’s no sacrifice
No sacrifice
It’s no sacrifice, at all
